Job summary

BestCare Treatment Services, Inc. seeks 2 Certified Peer Support Specialists to work within the BHRN Behavioral Health Regional Network’s low-barrier SUD program in Madras, Oregon.

This role offers opportunities for peer mentoring, case management, and connection to housing and employment resources. The position requires peer certification, a high school diploma, and the ability to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Must meet Oregon definition of a peer and have lived experience with recovery.
• Must maintain recovery for the previous two years if in recovery from SUD.

Responsibilities

• Support and encourage individuals with SUD in hospital and outpatient settings.
• Promote recovery skills and access to services.
• Assist with transportation to appointments when needed.
• Maintain documentation in EHR per policy and standards.
• Collaborate with treatment team and community partners.
