Promise Resource Network in Raleigh, NC is hiring a full-time Harm Reduction and Recovery Hub Peer Support Specialist to oversee harm reduction initiatives and deliver peer-based services. The role focuses on creating a supportive, nonjudgmental environment for people affected by substance use, mental health challenges, and reentry.

Qualifications

• NC Certified Peer Support Specialist required.
• Recovery Coach certification or plan to obtain within 3 months.
• Lived experience with recovery or reentry is valued.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse individuals.

Responsibilities

• Design and coordinate harm reduction initiatives and education.
• Provide one-to-one peer support and outreach.
• Facilitate workshops and recovery classes.
• Track program outcomes and maintain data entry.
• Represent the organization at community events and coalitions.
