Job summary

Americas Rehab Campuses is seeking a Transitional Housing Support Staff to provide direct support and oversight to residents in the Transitional Housing Program in Tucson, AZ. The role focuses on fostering a safe, recovery-focused living environment and helping residents build independent living skills and long-term stability.

Responsibilities include supervising resident activities, enforcing rules, completing logs, and ensuring HIPAA-compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in related field preferred.
• Valid Arizona Driver’s License with acceptable 36 month driving record.
• CPR/FA Certification – to be obtained within first 30 days.
• Fingerprint Clearance Card – have current card or show proof of applying within 7 days from hire date.
• Handle with Care – to be obtained within first 30 days.
• Successful clearance of pre-employment criminal/county/state background check.
• Successful clearance of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
• Successful clearance of TB PPD testing upon hire and annual screening of TB symptoms.
• Attending clinical oversight with BHP once every 2 weeks worked for a minimum of 2 sessions per month.

Responsibilities

• Monitor resident activities to ensure a safe and structured environment.
• Enforce house rules, curfews, and program expectations consistently and respectfully.
• Conduct regular house checks and document observations.
• Perform random drug and alcohol screenings as assigned.
• Provide supportive coaching related to life skills, employment, and recovery goals.
• Assist residents with conflict resolution and problem-solving.
• Report concerns, incidents, or behavioral issues to supervisory staff promptly.
• Complete accurate and timely shift notes, incident reports, and required logs.
• Maintain documentation in accordance with company policy and regulatory standards.
• Ensure all required forms are completed and submitted per protocol.
• Protect resident confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Conduct intake orientation for new residents when assigned.
• Support transportation coordination as needed.
• Assist with room checks, cleanliness inspections, and inventory management.
• Participate in team meetings and trainings.
• Support emergency response procedures when necessary.
