Job summary

Americas Rehab Campuses in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Transitional Housing Support Staff to provide direct support and oversight for residents in a structured, recovery-focused living environment. You will help develop life skills, promote sobriety, and progress toward long-term stability.

Responsibilities include supervising residents, maintaining documentation per HIPAA, coordinating transportation, and participating in team meetings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Minimum two years in related field preferred.
• Valid Arizona Driver’s License with acceptable 36 month driving record.
• CPR/FA Certification to be obtained within first 30 days.
• Fingerprint Clearance Card current or applied within 7 days of hire.
• Handle with Care to be obtained within first 30 days.
• Clearance of pre-employment criminal background, drug/alcohol tests, and TB screening.
• Attend clinical oversight with BHP at least biweekly for two sessions monthly.

Responsibilities

• Monitor resident activities to ensure a safe, structured environment.
• Enforce house rules, curfews, and program expectations consistently.
• Conduct regular house checks and document observations.
• Perform random drug and alcohol screenings as assigned.
• Provide coaching on life skills, employment, and recovery goals.
• Assist residents with conflict resolution and problem-solving.
• Report concerns to supervisory staff promptly.
• Complete shift notes, incident reports, and required logs.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation and forms.
• Conduct intake orientation for new residents when assigned.
• Support transportation coordination as needed.
• Assist with room checks, cleanliness inspections, and inventory.
• Participate in team meetings and trainings; support emergency procedures.
