Job summary

Recovery Innovations in Durham, NC seeks a Registered Nurse for a full-time day shift (7:00am–7:30pm) to oversee medical, psychiatric, and nursing care for individuals served. The RN will coordinate services with community health and mental health agencies and act as a clinical liaison until enrollment elsewhere.

Requires RN licensure with a preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing; compact licensure is a plus. Minimum 1 year in behavioral health.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
• State RN license required; compact licensure preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees medical, psychiatric, substance abuse and nursing care.
• Serves as clinical liaison until enrollment in services at another facility.
• Coordinates with public and private health, mental health and social service agencies.
• Conducts assessments and treatment plans; provides individual and family counseling.
