Job summary

Raleigh Recovery Center in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse (Nights) to provide comprehensive nursing care to clients in a behavioral health setting. You will supervise care provided by LPNs and CNAs, develop and evaluate individual care plans, and document meticulously.

Responsibilities include assessing patients, administering medications with two identifiers, communicating changes to the treatment team, and delivering patient and family education to support recovery.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved/accredited school of nursing.
• One or more years of nursing experience preferred in clinical area.
• Knowledge of psychotropic medications and administration procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provides and coordinates care by assessing physical and behavioral health needs and developing nursing care plans.
• Assesses patients’ status on an ongoing basis and communicates findings to providers.
• Administers medications with two identifiers and documents per policy.
• Notifies providers of significant changes in status and laboratory results.
• Ensures accurate documentation for all clients on each shift and completes hand-off reports.
• Educates clients and families about medications, rights, and care procedures.
