Job summary

NARA Northwest is seeking compassionate Residential Assistants for Adult Residential Treatment. You’ll support adults in a recovery-focused, trauma-informed setting, assist with admissions, documentation, and transportation, and help maintain a respectful, safe environment.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and completion of CPR/CPI and Food Handler certificates within 30 days. Swing shift with weekend coverage and benefits available after 20 hours.

Qualifications

• Must have current, active driver’s license.
• Must have current, active auto insurance.
• Over the age of 23 per insurance policy.
• Pre-employment background check required.
• CPR, CPI, and Food Handler certificates within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support, supervision, and encouragement to clients in a residential treatment setting.
• Foster a safe, respectful, and recovery-focused environment using trauma-informed care practices.
• Monitor client well-being, conduct routine safety checks, and respond to emergencies.
• Facilitate medication distribution and maintain documentation (logs, incident reports).
• Support admissions, orientations, and client transitions within the program.
• Transport clients to appointments and approved activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, welcoming residential environment.
• Collaborate with counselors, staff, clients, and families to support recovery goals.
• Adhere to confidentiality and agency policies.
