Job summary

Pioneer Human Services in Washington state is seeking a Residential Treatment Specialist to support residents with their individual treatment plans. The RTS provides physical care and implements programming to promote recovery and rehabilitation, in collaboration with a dedicated team.

The position covers evenings and weekends, with a 12pm–10pm shift on Wednesday through Saturday, and requires a high school diploma, valid driver’s license, and CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain Agency Affiliated Counselor credentials within 60 days.
• First Aid/CPR certification required before first independent shift.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and explain program and unit policy to residents as needed.
• Perform and document daily shift activities per policies and standards.
• Supervise and monitor resident movement, activity and rule compliance.
• Assess and respond to resident behaviors and dispositions.
• Plan and assist in structured activities to promote social and independent living skills.
• Prepare reports and maintain resident files and head counts.
