NARA Northwest in Portland, OR is seeking a Residential Assistant (On-Call) to supervise youth during daily treatment activities at a Youth Residential Treatment Center. You will build positive relationships with residents, monitor daily living activities, and ensure safety and trauma-informed support.

You will complete required documentation, transport youth when needed, and participate in on-call coverage to fill vacancies.

Qualifikationen

• Driving is a requirement
• Current, active driver's license
• Current, active auto insurance
• Over the age of 23 (per our insurance policy)

Aufgaben

• Provide direct supervision to youth during daily treatment activities.
• Build positive, professional relationships with residents while maintaining appropriate boundaries.
• Conduct routine safety checks.
• Administer medications as authorized and maintain accurate MARs.
• Utilize trauma-informed approaches to support youth emotional, behavioral, and recovery needs.
• Foster a safe, respectful, and structured environment.
• Support youth engagement in treatment goals and daily routines.
• Supervise and assist with chores and community living expectations.
• Complete required documentation including daily logs, incident reports, medication records, and resident updates.
• Transport youth to appointments, activities, school, or other approved destinations as needed.
