The role emphasizes trauma-informed, gender-responsive care and collaboration with treatment teams to develop person-centered recovery plans, promoting wellness and self-worth in a culturally sensitive environment.

Qualifications

• GED or high school equivalency is required.
• Individual in recovery is required and preferred to have recovery experience.
• Certified Peer Specialist certification is preferred but candidates pursuing certification within 1 year will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer support through individual and group sessions.
• Assist with development and execution of person-centered recovery plans.
• Promote empowerment, recovery, and community integration for participants.
• Coordinate with teams to link participants to services.
• Maintain timely documentation of encounters and plans in required systems.
