Qualifications

• Must be NC Certified Peer Support Specialist.
• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Self identify as a person in recovery and be in stable recovery.
• Must not be a family member of the beneficiary.

Responsibilities

• Provide structured, scheduled peer support services to promote recovery.
• Collaborate with Qualified Professionals and Integrated Care Teams.
• Assist beneficiaries to access housing, finances, and employment readiness.
• Support self-advocacy and access to community resources.
• Document activities and ensure compliance with department policies.
• Maintain compassionate, recovery‑oriented interactions with beneficiaries.
