Job summary

Oaks Integrated Care Inc. in Cherry Hill, New Jersey seeks a dedicated peer support professional to join the behavioral health team. You will work in a team-based environment to help adults, children, and families achieve recovery, navigate services, and access community resources.

Responsibilities include advocacy, case management, and supporting daily living activities, with emphasis on consumer-driven, recovery-oriented care. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Certified Peer Specialist certification preferred.
• Knowledge of recovery-based concepts and interventions.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Participates in team-based care and shared decision-making with colleagues to support individuals in recovery.
• Support individuals in pursuing self-chosen goals.
• Provide advocacy, navigate the behavioral health system, accompany individuals to appointments and milestones.
• Provide case management to individuals and families, linking to needed services.
• Assist individuals in identifying supports and engaging in social and recreational activities.
• Support daily living and independent living skills.
• Promote self-determination and recovery-oriented environment.
• Document interactions and maintain accurate records in electronic health records.
