Job summary

Oaks Integrated Care seeks a Recovery Specialist to join the STAR program in Vineland, NJ. This full-time, on-site position supports adults facing concurrent challenges and substance use concerns by coordinating care, housing, transportation, and social services within a collaborative team.

You will educate clients, provide recovery-support peer services, and help access treatment resources. A high school diploma is required; CPRS is preferred, with growth opportunities and comprehensive

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• CPRS preferred or enrollment in courses upon hire.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing and successful pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Develop collaborative plans with individuals to support recovery goals.
• Utilize lived experience to guide individuals in recovery.
• Educate individuals on navigating treatment and social services.
• Provide recovery support peer services based on individual needs.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including nurses, therapists, and case managers.
• Assist individuals in accessing community recovery resources.
• Maintain professional boundaries and relationships with individuals.
• Document activities in accordance with agency standards.
