Job summary

The Emily Program is relocating its Behavioral Health Technician roles to Aurora, OH, with initial work in Cleveland Heights. This full-time, 0.8 FTE position (32 hours/week) operates on a 2nd shift from 2-10:30 pm and requires rotating weekends/holidays.

The role supports residential and inpatient care and offers a $20–$22 hourly rate with a $2,000 sign-on bonus for training in Cleveland Heights. Final compensation will be within the stated pay range based on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree or higher or at least 2 years of healthcare experience in a similar position/related field preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, behavioral health, or a related field; a relevant certification or licensure preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license and be authorized to drive.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the multi-disciplinary team on care plan and treatment, assisting in admissions, supporting or assisting clients in programming.
• Participates in therapeutic meals and snacks and provides support during structured outings and recreation.
• Available to engage, challenge, and support residents as needed. Reports observations and documents in charts.
• Monitors and supports bathroom use per client treatment direction. Monitors and documents exercise.
• Responsible for enforcing appropriate policies with residents and completing all expected tasks including hourly room-checks.
