Job summary

The Emily Program in Northwoods, Ohio, is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to support residential and inpatient care by facilitating therapeutic activity groups and helping clients develop skills to manage their eating disorder. This full-time, 0.8 (32 hours/week) role is scheduled for the 3rd shift, 10pm–6:30am, with rotating weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree or higher or at least 2 years of healthcare experience in a similar position/ related field preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, behavioral health, or a related field; a relevant certification or licensure preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license and be authorized to drive.

Responsibilities

• Partner with care team on care plans and admissions.
• Participates in therapeutic meals and snacks; supports structured outings and recreation.
• Engage with residents, provide support, and document observations in charts.
• Monitor bathroom use and exercise per client treatment direction.
• Enforce policies; perform hourly room-checks.

Education
