The Emily Program is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to support the residential and inpatient milieu, helping clients develop skills to manage their eating disorders and maintain a recovery-oriented environment. The role will begin in Cleveland Heights and relocate to Aurora in December, with 32 hours per week on a 2nd shift (2-10:30pm) schedule.

Requirements include a high school diploma (or higher) and preferred healthcare experience; a valid driver’s license is required.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree or higher or 2 years healthcare experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, behavioral health, or related field; a relevant certification or licensure preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license

Mansioni

• Facilitate therapeutic activity groups and support clients in acquiring skills to manage their eating disorder.
• Participate in therapeutic meals and snacks and provide support during structured outings and recreation.
• Engage, challenge, and support residents as needed; report observations and document in charts.
• Monitor and support bathroom use per client treatment direction; monitor and document exercise.
• Enforce appropriate policies with residents and complete hourly room-checks
