Job summary

The Emily Program is hiring a Behavioral Health Technician to support residential and inpatient care. You will facilitate therapeutic activity groups, help clients acquire skills to manage eating disorders, and maintain a recovery-focused environment.

You’ll work 0.8 FTE (32 hours/week) on the 1st shift (6a-2:30p) with rotating weekends/holidays. Compensation starts between $18–$22 per hour, with final offer based on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or higher or 2+ years healthcare experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, behavioral health, or related field; licensure preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license and be authorized to drive.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate activity groups and recovery-oriented programming.
• Support clients in acquiring eating disorder coping skills.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team on care plans and admissions.
• Monitor meals, snacks, and structured activities; document observations.
• Ensure hourly room-checks and enforce appropriate policies with residents.
