Job summary

The Emily Program in the United States is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to support the residential and inpatient milieu. You will facilitate therapeutic activity groups, help clients develop skills to manage their eating disorder, and maintain a recovery‑oriented environment to support lasting recovery.

The role is full-time at 0.8 FTE (32 hours/week) on the 2nd shift (2:00 PM–10:30 PM) with rotating weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree or higher or 2 years healthcare experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, behavioral health, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates therapeutic activity groups and supports residents in acquiring recovery skills.
• Maintains a recovery-oriented environment and provides general support to clients.
• Performs hourly room-checks and documents observations.
• Reports observations and maintains charts per treatment direction.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
