Job summary

The Emily Program is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to support residential and inpatient care. The role involves facilitating activity groups, assisting clients in developing skills to manage eating disorders, and maintaining a recovery-oriented environment.

Schedule features full-time 0.6 FTE (20 hours/week), 3rd shift from 10pm to 6:30am, with rotating weekends and holidays. Starting hourly range is $18.00-$22.00 for BHT I, with final compensation within the stated pay range.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or 2 years healthcare experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, behavioral health, or related field; licensure preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates therapeutic activity groups for residents.
• Assists clients in acquiring skills to manage their eating disorder.
• Maintains a recovery-oriented environment and provides general support.
• Enforces policies and completes hourly room-checks.
• Documents observations in charts and reports to the team.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
