Job summary

The Emily Program in Seattle is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician for the night shift to support residential and inpatient milieu. You will facilitate therapeutic activity groups, assist clients in acquiring skills to manage eating disorders, and maintain a recovery-oriented environment.

This entry-level role requires a high school diploma, with preferred additional healthcare experience and a relevant degree. Travel and licensing prerequisites may apply per site policy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate degree or higher or at least 2 years of healthcare experience in a related field preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, behavioral health, or related field; relevant certification or licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates therapeutic activity groups (art, music, journaling, mindfulness, relaxation, games).
• Participates in therapeutic supported meals and snacks.
• Provides milieu support including escorting clients to on-site provider appointments.
• Engages, coaches, and supports residents as needed.
• Participates in scheduled supervision and seeks supervision when needed.
• Completes clinical documentation per Emily Program and Veritas Collaborative policies and standards.
• Maintains confidentiality of clients' protected health information and proprietary information.
• Completes all assigned mandatory trainings.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Associate degree or higher (or 2+ years healthcare experience)

Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, behavioral health or related field
