Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is hiring a Certified Peer Support Specialist to provide highly individualized services in community settings, promoting self-determination and recovery. The role focuses on advocacy, empowerment, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to support mental health and substance use recovery.

Education requirements include a Bachelor’s degree with related experience or a Master’s degree, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Certified Peer Support Specialist or eligible for certification.
• 1 year of experience working with the population served.
• Bachelor’s degree as specified or higher.
• Valid driver’s license and automotive insurance.
• Must meet the qualifications of a Qualified Professional.
• CPR/First Aid certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to provide advice and support per treatment plan.
• Assist in peer support groups with assigned consumers regularly.
• Support daily decision making and resolution of minor problems.
• Help clients access community resources and social activities.
• Attend meetings with clients and advocate for consumer needs.
