Qualifications

  • Master's degree or Bachelor’s with clinical experience required
  • Must self-identify as an individual with lived experience of mental illness or substance use diagnosis and be in recovery
  • Knowledge of mental health crisis systems, peer and recovery support, and program management
  • Strong organizational skills, effective communication, and ability to build collaborative relationships
  • In-state travel availability; private transportation should be available

Responsibilities

  • Lead statewide crisis training and coordinate peer and recovery services across Vermont's mental health system
  • Provide technical assistance to provider organizations
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to strengthen peer support programs statewide
