Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Complete required trainings within 6 months of hire.
• Complete Medicaid regulations training within six months.
• One year full-time experience with individuals receiving mental health services.
• Ability to function independently as a direct support professional.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work with medically fragile individuals and those with complex behavioral needs.

Responsibilities

• Teach, model, and coach ADLs and monitor performance.
• Facilitate community-based activities and access resources.
• Provide transportation and ensure safety.
• Maintain confidentiality and document care.
