Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of uninterrupted recovery (3-5 years preferred).
• Recovery coach certification required within the first 12 months of employment.
• Ability to use an Electronic Health Record to document medically necessary clinical services.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Promote recovery and remove barriers and obstacles to recovery.
• Serve as a mentor for people seeking or already in recovery.
• Model recovery principles and practices.
• Provide linkages to recovery-oriented support services.
• Serve as a liaison between the recovery community and treatment systems.
