Job summary

Bay State Community Services, Inc. seeks a Recovery Coach to work one-on-one with individuals and families on their journey to recovery, in home-based or community-based settings.

You will help clients set goals, navigate challenges, and connect with resources through active listening, mentorship, and resource navigation. We welcome bilingual applicants and those with lived recovery and parenting experience; driving is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Lived experience in sustained recovery required.
• Lived experience in parenting required.
• Strong people focus and ability to build trust.
• Willingness to pursue CARC certification.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Recovery Coach Model in home-based or community-based settings.
• Provide care coordination, advocacy, parenting skills and recovery coaching to Recoverees enrolled in the program.
• Develop and implement a parenting group that supports and promotes recovery.
• Maintain strict confidentiality in all duties.
• Drive is required.
• Work a flexible schedule to meet program and client needs.
