Job summary

Community Counseling of Bristol County (CCBC) is seeking a Recovery Coach to support peers in gaining hope, exploring recovery, and achieving life goals. You will use your lived recovery experience to build rapport within the community and help members obtain and maintain recovery.

We welcome multilingual candidates fluent in English and additional languages such as Spanish, Portuguese, Haitian Creole, or Cape Verdean Creole.

Qualifications

Minimum high school diploma or GED.
Lived recovery experience with at least 2 years of continuous abstinence if in personal recovery.
Multilingual abilities are preferred (English plus Spanish, Portuguese, Haitian Creole, or Cape Verdean Creole).

Responsibilities

Utilize recovery-based practices and motivational interviewing to build rapport with members in the community.
Collaborate with members to develop Wellness Plans and Relapse Prevention Plans.
Maintain a caseload of up to 30 members and complete documentation and insurance requirements.
Maintain weekly communication with members in person and by phone to aid in recovery.
Provide information on community, wellness, and recovery resources.
Connect members to addiction and recovery support providers and services, including MAT.
Accompany members to provider appointments to enhance the recovery experience.
Collaborate with established natural supports and community providers.
