Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: H.S. degree required.
• Certification: Peer Recovery Specialist in DC preferred.
• Experience: 1 year of completing and submitting clinical notes and documentation required.
• Experience: 1–2 years in outpatient mental health services for adults, SUD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain caseload and ensure active engagement with participants.
• Ensure a minimum of 1.5 hours of support per week per participant.
• Facilitate at least one group session per week.
• Assist clients in applying for benefits (SSI, Medicaid, Section 8, energy assistance).
• Develop natural support networks and link to community resources.
