Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years demonstrated personal recovery experience.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in recovery principles to help individuals improve health and live a self-directed life.
• Bilingual Spanish/English desirable.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of community/recovery resources.
• Ability to work both as a team member and independently.
• Understanding of relapse prevention and harm reduction techniques.

Responsibilities

• Engage consumers with substance use disorders in Warren County hospitals.
• Respond to deployment requests within 60 minutes from call to hospital entry.
• Gather client information to complete necessary paperwork.
• Respond to emails within 24 hours.
• Provide bed-side intervention and crisis support for patients in withdrawal.
• Offer post-emergency room telephone follow-up up to 60 days.
