Job summary

Root Center for Advanced Recovery in Hartford, CT is seeking a Recovery Coach to provide recovery services under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor. The role includes maintaining an Intensive Case Management caseload, guiding patients in recovery, and assisting with referrals to community resources.

The position offers a comprehensive benefits package, four weeks of PTO, four weeks PTO, and a 35-hour work week with no on-call duties. Hourly rate ranges from $20.00 to $25.00.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year experience in medical or mental health or a related area required.
• CCAR Certification or Advocacy Unlimited Certification required.
• Experiential or actual knowledge of Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT).

Responsibilities

• Maintains a caseload of Intensive Case Management clients and provides recovery life skills guidance.
• Assists clients with personal care and independent living skills, health and safety awareness, money management, transportation, and interpersonal communications.
• Coordinates transportation for patients to community services and attends community meetings to develop resources.
• Advocates to ensure patients access to and receive services from community-based programs.
