Job summary

Gandara Mental Health Center, Inc. seeks a Recovery Coach to support individuals in recovery as part of the Center team. You will provide non-clinical services, help build recovery capital, and assist with housing, employment, and social supports.

The role requires lived recovery experience, 2 years of sobriety, and participation in a recovery coach program with certification eligibility. A flexible schedule and engagement across community services are anticipated.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, with exceptions possible in select cases.
• Lived experience with recovery and 2 years of sustained sobriety required.
• Experience with addiction treatment services and recovery coaching is expected.
• Eligible to be a certified recovery coach after completing required training.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support recovery plans to build recovery capital for members.
• Provide non-clinical assistance: housing applications, resumes, and referrals.
• Coordinate with probation, parole, employment and educational services as needed.
• Offer crisis intervention, safety planning, and trauma-informed support.
• Maintain program records and participate in supervision and trainings.
