Qualifications

• Personal recovery experience required.
• Peer support or patient advocacy experience preferred.
• Experience in healthcare or behavioral health settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer-to-peer support and mentorship to individuals in behavioral health programs.
• Share personal recovery experiences while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Help patients develop coping strategies and self-advocacy techniques.
• Facilitate group sessions, workshops, and community activities.
• Connect patients with internal and community resources.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to support individualized care plans.
• Maintain documentation of interactions in the EHR.
• Promote engagement and adherence to treatment goals.
• Participate in treatment team meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
• Uphold confidentiality, HIPAA, and PREA regulations.
