Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Associate - Recovery in West Des Moines, IA (Hybrid). You will analyze recovery claims to determine entitled benefits while ensuring adjudication aligns with client requirements and service standards.

The role emphasizes timely communications, accurate processing of recoveries, and collaboration with clients and collections agencies. A high school diploma and at least two years of general office experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of general office experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Claims industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze recovery claims and determine benefits due.
• Maintain a monthly diary and ensure timely payment per department schedule.
• Process recoveries in claims systems to apply recovery dollars to claims.
• Collaborate with collection agencies to recover from at-fault parties and record details.
• Utilize technology to complete investigations as needed.
• Respond to clients' questions timely and professionally.
• Approve and/or pay bills as appropriate.
• Prepare status reports for clients.
