Job summary

Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge is seeking a Recovery Care Supervisor to oversee daily operations for Recovery Care Specialists in a residential treatment setting. You will coordinate staff workflow, scheduling, documentation, and ensure compliance with MnTC policies, DHS requirements, and 245G standards.

You will lead staff development, support on-floor supervision, and collaborate with program leadership to maintain a safe, respectful, and effective program environment focused on client care

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor of Arts/Science or associate degree in health/human services field preferred or one year of relevant experience.
• At least 21 years of age and eligibility for required trainings.
• Experience in supervision or lead roles is preferred.
• Demonstrated organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the selection, onboarding, supervision, and retention of Recovery Care Specialists.
• Communicate program direction and policy updates to staff.
• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and performance reviews.
• Monitor staff performance and adherence to program expectations; coach and document as needed.
• Ensure staff complete required MnTC, DHS, and program trainings on time.
• Coordinate staffing for events, shifts, and coverage; participate in weekend on-call coverage.
• Oversee medication coordination processes and coordinate with nursing and program manager.
