Job summary

Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge in Rochester, MN seeks a Rochester Women’s Client Care Specialist to provide direct client care in the Life Renewal/IOL program. You will support clients, de-escalate situations, monitor activities, and help maintain a safe floor environment daily.

Responsibilities include supervising medications, aiding intake/discharges, and transporting clients as needed, with a compassionate, trauma-informed approach and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of experience with vulnerable adults or related health field.
• Course of study in health or human services leading to BA/BS/AS desirable.
• Certified peer specialist in mental health is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead clients on living and programming floors with a client-centered approach.
• Serve as first point of contact for questions, concerns, and shift updates.
• Maintain a safe, calm floor environment and de-escalate when needed.
• Oversee medication administration and document accurately.
• Assist in intake, discharges, and transporting clients as needed.
