Job summary

Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge is seeking a Supervisor of Nursing Services to oversee nursing staff and ensure high-quality medical care for clients across campus or program. The role involves direct patient care, supervision of LPNs/RNs, and coordination with the clinical team.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed RN with Minnesota licensure.
• Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible nursing experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing deadlines.
• Must have at least 1 year of freedom from problematic substances.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing services and direct medical care for clients.
• Review admission notes and assess at-risk clients.
• Meet with clients who have health concerns and refer as needed.
• Manage medication issues identified during assessment or referred to by staff.
• Consult with Program Managers, Program Directors & staff regarding client health issues.
• Escalate challenging health issues to nursing leadership.
• Provide nursing supervision for LPNs and RNs and coordinate staffing.
• Onboard and train new nursing staff and coordinate with management.
