The ideal candidate uses lived experience to inspire hope, assists with resource navigation, and helps build independent living skills in diverse settings across clinics and community sites.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED and Georgia CPS certification.
• Forty hours of Certified Peer Specialist training are required.
• Lived recovery experience may be used to support others respectfully.

Responsibilities

• Provides peer support and recovery-oriented services to consumers.
• Promotes recovery, wellness, self-determination, and personal responsibility.
• Completes required clinical documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary treatment teams to support consumer outcomes.
• Engages community resources and supports transitions between services.
