Job summary

Origins Behavioral HealthCare is seeking a Recovery Advocate to support staff in daily scheduling and client care at our Texas facility. The role involves coordinating patient needs, facilitating 12-step lectures, and mentoring clients under supervision. It requires strong communication and awareness of client confidentiality.

You will help with admissions, transportation, and off-facility activities, while upholding company policies and maintaining safety and privacy for all clients.

Qualifications

• Must be computer literate and familiar with Microsoft products and network components.
• Must have fluent communication skills.
• Must be familiar with the principles and programs of the various 12-step fellowships.

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between clients and staff and relay pertinent client information to Clinical Staff.
• Supervise daily client operations and act in the best interest of clients.
• Document services thoroughly, accurately, and timely.
• Assist clients with transportation needs.
• Maintain client safety and facility security.
• Participate in intake and discharge process of clients.
• Administer drug screens.
• Instruct recovery-based lectures as assigned.
