Origins-Behavioral-Healthcare in South Padre Island, TX seeks a Part-time, non-exempt Recovery Advocate Assistant. You will help manage daily schedules, assist staff, and coordinate patient needs, including transportation and intake tasks.

You will facilitate 12-step lectures, mentor clients, maintain records, and ensure confidentiality. A valid driver’s license and sobriety are preferred, with a focus on compassionate care.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a helping profession preferred.
• If in recovery, two years of continuous sobriety is preferred.
• Must produce and maintain a valid driver’s license and pass MVR requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Act as a liaison between clients and staff and relay pertinent client information, including observations, to appropriate Clinical Staff.
• Supervise daily client operations and always act in a manner sensitive to their needs and best interest.
• Provide thorough, accurate, and timely documentation of any services delivered to clients.
• Assist clients with transportation needs.
• Communicate and set limits with culturally diverse clients.
• Maintain the safety of the clients and the security of the facility.
• Participate in intake and discharge process of clients.
• Administration of drug screens.
• Instruct recovery based lectures as assigned.
• Protect client confidentiality in accordance with Company Policy.
• Must maintain off the clock boundaries. Will not be responsible for any after-hours work communication.
• Uphold all Origins Behavioral HealthCare Policies and Procedures.
• Maintain client/potential client confidentiality in accordance with Origins’ Policy.
