Job summary

FLHSMV is seeking an Operations Manager A - SES to support the Records/Coding units, including re-evaluation, coding, and statewide record updates. The role requires leadership, detailed knowledge of statutes, and the ability to coordinate across multiple teams.

Critical duties include reviewing citation data, resolving errors, and guiding staff through complex record management tasks. Overnight travel is required, and the position offers comprehensive Florida benefits and a competitive SES

Qualifications

• Experience supervising staff and managing teams.
• Ability to research, collect, analyze data and prepare reports.
• Ability to make decisions and solve problems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint).
• Experience interpreting laws, rules and procedures.
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist Program Manager in Records/Coding unit operations.
• Oversee Re-Evaluation, Research & Update, and Mandatory Citation Coding units.
• Review citation errors and voids; manage out-of-state dispositions.
• Support State 2 State team in resolving duplicates and reinstatement dates.
• Operate and train others on relevant record systems.
