Job summary

State of Florida is seeking a OPS RCC Public Records Technician at FLHSMV. The role focuses on documenting and fulfilling public records requests for the Florida Highway Patrol, with emphasis on timely processing, data analysis, and policy interpretation.

The position requires strong attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication, and familiarity with standard government systems including GovQA and SharePoint. A valid driver’s license and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Must clearly state qualifying responses and employment history details.
• Background check including CJIS security clearance and fingerprinting will be conducted.
• High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Document and fulfill public record requests for the Florida Highway Patrol in a timely manner.
• Analyze data and policy procedures to reach logical conclusions or recommendations.
• Coordinate with records technicians, troop administrative staff, managers to align efforts.
