Job summary

Lactalis American Group in Nampa, Idaho, is hiring a Recook Operator I to rework or recook cheese not packaged, moving cheese from totes to a shredder and through the DMC system.

You will follow SOPs, maintain quality, log production data, and support audits and ISO/HACCP compliance. This role requires physical tasks and standing a full shift.

Qualifications

• Experience in a food manufacturing setting preferred.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations (ISO/HACCP) preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lb and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Meet efficiency budget levels while maintaining product quality.
• Operate shredder machinery to process cheese waste and recook material.
• Monitor shredding process for speed and quality.
• Follow SOPs for reworking/recorking cheese and ensure food safety compliance.
• Record production quantities and quality issues accurately.
• Communicate equipment malfunctions and coordinate timely resolutions.
• Support audits and continual process improvements.
