As a Construction Project Estimator with Servpro of Duncanville/DeSoto, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of service is provided to all customers and clients. In this role, you will manage a wide range of functions on all construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet with customers to inspect and photograph all damages.
• Develop and write estimates that include all construction services required to restore the structure and ensure customer and client satisfaction.
• Document all communications with customers and clients.
• Communicate with adjusters and clients when needed for project approvals and authorizations.
• Ensure estimates comply with plans, specifications, local codes, and scope of work requirements.
• Properly document each project, including photos.
• Assist the Project Construction Manager when needed for scope clarification or explanation.

Position Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous construction experience.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to meet production goals and maintain profitability.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Two years of Xactimate experience, including sketching (Required).

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies

• Exposure to extreme conditions such as heat.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods, including driving, sitting, and climbing.
• Ability to climb ladders for inspections and photos.
• Exposure to loud noise levels at jobsites.
• Ability to successfully complete a background check according to applicable law.
