Job summary

SERVPRO of Virginia Beach is seeking an experienced Reconstruction Estimator to join our team. The role involves visiting job sites after mitigation and demolition, evaluating repairs, and producing accurate reconstruction scopes and estimates using Xactimate.

You will work with project managers and the reconstruction team to ensure estimates are complete and ready for insurance carriers. A valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check are required, with opportunities for

• Experience with Xactimate required.
• Strong understanding of reconstruction estimating and materials.

Responsibilities

• Visit job sites after mitigation and demolition.
• Assess damages and determine scope of repairs.
• Take measurements, document damages, and identify reconstruction work.
• Write detailed reconstruction scopes and prepare estimates in Xactimate.
• Ensure estimates are accurate and ready for submission to insurers.
• Make revisions to estimates based on feedback.
• Communicate with project managers and reconstruction team.
