Job summary

SERVPRO of Chesapeake is seeking a Reconstruction Estimator to support our expanding restoration team. You will prepare accurate estimates for fire and water damage projects and help clients navigate the remediation process.

In this role you will analyze labor, materials, and timelines, create initial scopes, price bid items with Project Managers, and ensure estimates meet client requirements. This is a full-time on-site position requiring travel locally; you will join a team focused on service

Qualifications

• 2 years of construction estimating or insurance adjusting experience.
• Excellent customer service track record.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced math skills.
• Proficient in Xactimate estimating software.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving.
• Team player with reliable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Establish customer relationships and educate on the construction process; assess upgrades and ensure estimates meet client needs.
• Analyze labor, materials, and time; create initial scope and accurate estimates for bids.
• Define project scope; coordinate outside resources and deliver organized estimates to Project Manager.
