Job summary

SERVPRO of Birmingham North is seeking a Reconstruction Project Manager to lead recovery projects after mitigation handoff. You will assess properties, develop scopes, and work with homeowners and adjusters to move opportunities to signed jobs.

The role requires coordinating with providers and carriers, managing supplements, and ensuring accurate estimates while maintaining strong customer communication. Previous restoration experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong construction background; speak credibly about restoration scope.
• Insurance restoration experience; assess loss and scope to pre-loss condition.
• Read and interpret Xactimate scopes; estimating exposure required.
• Experience with DocuSketch, Matterport, or comparable 3D tools.

Responsibilities

• Receive reconstruction opportunities after mitigation handoff and prioritize leads.
• Respond to residential and light commercial losses; on-call after-hours when assigned.
• Act as front-line sales representative for reconstruction team on losses from small to large.
• Perform site inspections to assess damage and gather scope documentation.
• Capture field documentation: photos, measurements, moisture notes, 3D docs and sketches.
• Provide scope details to estimating team; review for accuracy and alignment with carrier requirements.
• Explain reconstruction process to homeowners and adjusters; obtain approvals and keep opportunity moving.
• Obtain signed contracts and other required documents per policy.
