Job summary

College of Southern Nevada in North Las Vegas is seeking a part-time student employee for Campus Recreation. You will perform receptionist duties, assist with program registrations, conduct facility tours, and help with marketing and events.

This role supports CSN students and staff and offers up to 20 hours per week at an hourly rate of $14.00. Ideal candidates have strong customer service and communication skills, comfort interacting with diverse populations, and basic MS Office and Canva

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to interact respectfully and professionally with diverse populations.
• Dependable, punctual, trustworthy, and able to take initiative.
• Willingness to learn new processes and procedures.
• Understanding of diverse and multicultural environments.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Canva.

Responsibilities

• Provide receptionist and customer service support
• Assist with program registration, record keeping, data entry, and filing
• Conduct facility tours and explain membership requirements
• Create membership cards and provide information regarding Athletics and Campus Recreation programs
• Assist with marketing efforts and promotional activities
• Support weekend and evening special events or projects as assigned
• Manage and maintain equipment
• Perform other duties as assigned
