Job summary

Holliday Ingram in Greenville, SC is seeking a part-time receptionist to welcome clients and coordinate appointments in a professional, friendly manner. This role supports front-office operations, answers calls, manages inquiries, and helps ensure a smooth, confidential environment for meetings and closings.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associates degree preferred.
  • Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to stay calm and organized in busy times.
  • Proactive and observant with initiative to help when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome clients, agents, visitors, and guests with a warm, professional presence.
  • Answer and direct incoming calls and digital inquiries to the right team member.
  • Monitor and respond to group inboxes and follow up promptly.
  • Coordinate client appointments, meetings, and closings while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Prepare conference rooms and client spaces for meetings and closings.
  • Organize documents needed for meetings and closings.
  • Communicate with clients and agents by phone to confirm appointments or address questions.
  • Receive, organize, and distribute mail and packages.
  • Coordinate client and agent pickups and other office deliveries.
  • Assign new orders per established procedures.
  • Monitor office and conference room needs and order supplies as needed.
  • Notice and take initiative to keep the office running smoothly.
  • Support the Greenville team with other administrative and client-service needs.

The Receptionist is often the first person our clients, agents, and visitors meet when they walk through our doors or call our office. At Holliday Ingram, we believe that first impression matters.

We are looking for a warm, professional, and dependable person who genuinely enjoys serving people. This role is about more than answering phones. You will help create a welcoming experience for clients, keep the front office running smoothly, and make sure people get connected to the right person and the right information.

What You’ll Do

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree, preferred
  • Previous customer service, hospitality, administrative, reception, or other client-facing experience preferred.
  • Warm, professional, and genuinely enjoys helping people.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Dependable and consistent, with strong attention to detail.
  • Able to stay calm, courteous, and composed when things get busy or unexpected issues arise.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and interruptions without losing track of details.
  • Proactive and observant, with the ability to recognize what needs to be done without always being asked.
  • Comfortable learning and using technology, including Microsoft Office and phone/digital communication systems.
  • Able to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.

Schedule: Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-12:30 PM
