The Company

The Position

We are seeking a Receptionist/Office Assistant to join our team at our Financial District location. This role involves managing front desk operations, answering high-volume calls, greeting visitors, monitoring office supplies, handling incoming and outgoing mail, and supporting social media and marketing projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, organizational ability, computer proficiency, and composure under pressure.

Responsibilities
  1. Answer high-volume phone calls, take messages, and distribute accordingly
  2. Send and receive faxes
  3. Greet and direct visitors
  4. Coordinate badges and supplies for NYC team
  5. Support kitchen operations (restocking, making coffee)
  6. Manage incoming packages and mail, including scanning and sorting
  7. Support mail process and coordinate with Garden City office
  8. Assist with building management and vendor needs
  9. Handle miscellaneous requests with a positive attitude
  10. Provide general administrative support as needed
Qualifications
  1. 1-2 years in a receptionist/office assistant role or similar
  2. Proficient in computer skills
  3. Strong verbal and written communication skills
  4. Ability to multi-task
  5. Excellent organizational skills
  6. Professional and calm demeanor
Compensation and Benefits

Salary is competitive for entry/junior level positions, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, flexible spending, 401k, and gym reimbursement.
