Job summary

Hillcrest Commons Nursing & Rehab Center is seeking a friendly Receptionist for per diem shifts, evenings and weekends. You will handle correspondence, answer phones, schedule appointments, sort mail, and support administrative tasks to keep the front desk running smoothly.

The role offers a pay rate of $17.00 to $20.99 per hour, with full facility benefits and opportunities to grow within a large post-acute health care system serving the community.

Qualifications

• Receptionist experience preferred
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong communication and front-desk etiquette

Responsibilities

• Type, file and distribute correspondence as directed.
• Answer telephone, make appointments, run errands, take and deliver messages, etc., as directed.
• Sort, distribute, and route incoming mail to appropriate residents, departments, and/or personnel.
• Maintain postage meter in facility.
• Type letters, reports, statements, minutes of meetings, agendas, etc., as necessary/directed.
• Maintain files and other records as directed.
• Receive and screen office visitors and telephone calls as necessary.
• Perform admitting, reception, telephone and/or switchboard duties as necessary/directed.
• Perform unscheduled administrative task as directed.
• Serve as secretary to various committees of the facility as necessary/directed.
