Job summary

Valle Vista Health System in Greenwood, IN is seeking a Front Office Receptionist to greet visitors, answer calls, and check in patients in a busy hospital setting.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and at least two years of experience on a multi-line switchboard, with strong computer skills and comfort working in a healthcare environment. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, at 898 East Main Street.

Qualifications

• Computer skills and any combination of education, training, or experience in a hospital environment, preferred.

Valle Vista Health System is a 132-bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in the beautiful community of Greenwood, IN. Responsibilities

Front office Receptionist is responsible for greeting and assisting all visitors, answering calls, and checking in patients. In addition, the receptionist may assist with various clerical duties and projects as assigned by Director of Assessment.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Licensure: High school graduate or equivalent.

Experience: Two (2) years’ experience on a multi-line telephone switchboard, preferable in a heath care environment, computer skills and any combination of education, training, or experience in a hospital environment, preferred.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Work Location: 898 East Main Street, Greenwood, IN 46143.
